Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah has provided some details of the controversial Obama letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Guardian Council Secretary Ahmad Jannati meeting families of 370 families of Iranian fighters martyred in Muharram Operations in 1983 on Sunday said "Eyes and ears have to be kept open. They must know people’s past. One who has had the smallest role in the sedition is not qualified to take any position,” apparently pointing to the government’s new choice for the minister of science.

Be aware of those who are in opposition to the guardian jurist, if it weren’t for him, things would have gone out of hand in the 2009 sedition.

The ayatollah also pointed to disturbances in the current year’s Muharram mourning ceremonies around the world and said "This is a sensitive time. Some claim love for Imam Hussayn but as a tool to create disagreement among the Shiite. They hold mourning sessions as a means to sacrilege other people’s sanctities and enrage them, whose ultimate outcome is the massacre of the Shiite.”

"The US seeks to create a Shiite-Sunni war; and these people follow the same plan.”
