Tuesday, 21 December 2021 (YJC)_ An Iraqi official has announced that a delegation from Iraq will travel to Iran to negotiate the release of water to Hur al-Hawizeh.
According to Al-Dajla, the director general of the Iraqi National Water Resources Center said in an interview that Hur al-Hawizeh has been suffering from water shortages for eight months and that this problem will not be solved if water does not flow to us from Iran.
"Iraq needs Iran's cooperation to solve this problem," he said.
A delegation from Iraq is scheduled to leave for Iran soon to negotiate the release of water.
