Tehran, YJC. Minister of Roads and Urban Development advisor Said Moayedfar says families struck by road disasters are mainly from down the economic scale.
They come from poor families mostly and the accident only
worsens their economic status, which itself is a cause to growing social
damages.
Moayedfar made the statements while attending a ceremony
held in the memory of road accident victims, attended by the minister of road
and urban development, minister of health and medical education, and organized
by activists.
The third Sunday of November is held internationally as a commemoration of
road victims each year.
