Monday, 20 December 2021 (YJC)_ While appreciating the role Martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian President said he preserved region and world from dangers.
During his remarks in a meeting with the family of Lt. Gen. Qssem Soleimanito to commemorate the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the Iranian top general, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi noted that Gen. Soleimani had a key role in preserving region and world from dangers.
“Gen. Soleimani played a key role in preserving Iraq and Syria and the other countries in the region from the danger of Takfiri terrorism,” President Raeisi said while appreciating the role of Holy Shrine Defenders in Syria and other Resistance groups in both Iraq and Syria.
“A school of thought has been established in the Islamic world as well as other communities by Martyr Soleimani,” he added.
“The extent of value of the holy shrines and sacred religious places in Iraq and Syria for Iran is still unknown for lots of Muslims,” he pointed out while noting that had it not been for Martyr Soleimani, the region and the entire world could have been in danger now.
