Sunday, 19 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting with the new Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, emphasized the role of this organization in helping to solve the problems and crises of the Islamic world, including Afghanistan and Palestine.

On the sidelines of the meeting, he met with Hussein Ibrahim Taha, the new Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian congratulated him on his appointment and stressed the role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its Secretary General in helping to solve the problems and crises in the Islamic world, including Afghanistan and Palestine.
