More than a month after testing the 5,000-kilometer Agni-5 ballistic missile in India, the media reported that another ballistic missile had been tested in the country.
New Delhi has successfully tested a new generation of Agni-P ballistic missiles, Indian media outlets such as the Hindustan Times and Annie News reported, quoting Indian officials.
The nuclear-capable ballistic missile was reportedly fired off the coast of the eastern state of Odyssey on Saturday (today) and successfully hit its intended target.
According to Indian officials, the Agni-P ballistic missile has a range of 1,000 to 2,000 kilometers and hit the target with high accuracy in today's successful test.
