Kamalvandi: IAEA won’t have Access to Recordings of Cameras

Thursday, 16 December 2021 (YJC)_ Spokesman for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that IAEA will not have access to the information recorded by the CCTV cameras at Karaj site.

Kamalvandi: IAEA won’t have Access to Recordings of CamerasSpokesman for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Behruz Kamalvandi said that IAEA will not have access to the information recorded by the CCTV cameras at Karaj site.

He referred to the recent agreement that was signed between AEOI head Mohammad Eslami and the IAEA director general Rafael Grossi, in which Iran accepted that the IAEA re-installs damaged CCTV cameras at the Karaj site and said “the cameras will be re-installed and they will take pictures, record videos and the images and save them in the memory of the cameras.”

“There will be no acess for the IAEA to the camera’s recording,” he noted and added this agrement will not go beyond the Safeguards Agreement entitled “Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect Iranian Nation’s Interests.”
