Jabbar al-Ma'mouri, a senior member of the Fatah coalition and a member of the Iraqi parliament, said the Americans were not helping to monitor the movements of ISIS terrorists, despite having the right equipment.
He told Al-Maluma website that the United States has five to seven satellites that can monitor all movements over Iraq. However, the claims of some media outlets close to the country that the United States is providing the information needed to attack ISIS to Iraqi forces are false.
Al-Ma'mouri stressed that the Iraqi fighters and air force are using intelligence gathered by security forces, especially al-Hashd al-Shabi, to target ISIS positions.
The Iraqi representative also said that the terrorist attacks of ISIS and the secrecy of the time and place of these attacks before they took place show that the terrorists are receiving information from some internal and external sources.
He called the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq the beginning of the end for the ISIS terrorist group, and stressed that the Iraqi people had fought the group without American help.
