The President: ‌ Cooperation between Iran and Kazakhstan is far from the desired pointIn a message to Qasim Zhumart Tokayev, President Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi congratulated the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In this message, Raeisi noted that Iran and Kazakhstan have always made continuous efforts to enhance the level of cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres and in the direction of mutual interests.

The text of the President's message is as follows:

in the name of God

Dear Mr. Qasim Zhumart Tokayev

President of Kazakhstan

I cordially congratulate His Excellency and the people of your country on the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the thirty years since independence, the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken important steps towards comprehensive development and ensuring the welfare and security of its citizens. The initiatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the past three decades within the framework of regional and international structures, especially the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, ECO and Sika, show the concern and attention of your country's officials to global developments. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan have always made unremitting efforts to enhance the level of cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields and in the direction of mutual interests, which, of course, is far from the desired point due to the great potential of the two friendly and brotherly countries. I hope that by actively exploiting the existing capabilities, we can see more achievements in expanding and deepening bilateral and multilateral interactions.

I ask God Almighty for his health and success, and for the well-being of the honorable people of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
