Tuesday, 14 December 2021 (YJC)_ Rejecting European diplomats' claims about the time left to return to the JCPOA, the international affairs expert said they must accept that Iran accepts nothing less than a full and verifiable implementation of the JCPOA.
International affairs expert Seyed Mohammad Marandi criticized European claims that there was a lack of time to return to the Iran nuclear deal.
Marandi wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday morning, referring to the claim of the Europeans on Monday evening:
Iran is not satisfied. European negotiators must become accustomed to the fact that Iran will accept nothing less than the full and verifiable implementation of the JCPOA.
"The Europeans' claim that the time to return to the JCPOA was wasted was ironic," he said.
At a time when Iran was living up to its commitments and Europe was killing children [sick and in need of medicine] with sanctions, time was not very valuable for these European diplomats!
Earlier, diplomats from the European troika (Germany, France and Britain) claimed in the new atmosphere against Iran and the Vienna talks that they had failed to hold serious talks with Iran and that the time to return to the JCPOA was wasted.
The international affairs expert has previously written in another tweet about the differences between the texts proposed by the P4+1 group in the sixth round and the new round of Vienna talks:
The differences and the number of parentheses in the June 20 draft are much greater and wider than the suggestions of all the new texts.
Marandi also added:
To claim otherwise is dishonest. The texts were added to clarify some issues and resolve the contradictions between the texts and the JCPOA.
