Tuesday, 14 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iran's chief negotiator in Vienna criticized the unconstructive approach of some parties to the Vienna talks on his Twitter page, stressing that a good and quick agreement would be possible if there was a will to make amends.

Iran's chief negotiator criticizes the unconstructive approach of some parties to the talksAli Bagheri Kani, our Deputy Foreign Minister and Iran's chief negotiator in the talks on reviving the nuclear deal in Vienna, wrote on his Twitter page:
Some actors insist on their habit of blaming instead of diplomacy. We made suggestions quickly and worked constructively and flexibly to reduce differences.

Bagheri further wrote:
Street diplomacy is two-way. If the will is to compensate for the fault, the way to a good and quick agreement is paved.

Bagheri's remarks follow the second session of the seventh round of talks on reviving the nuclear deal in Vienna, which began last Thursday after a several-day hiatus.

The JCPOA talks are currently underway at the level of bilateral and multilateral groups of the parties to the agreement and the working groups of the JCPOA Joint Commission.

Iran has stated that it will continue to participate in the Vienna talks only with the aim of reaching a good agreement to lift all illegal US sanctions.

The overall atmosphere of the negotiations has so far been assessed by the constructive parties.
