Monday, 13 December 2021 (YJC)_ The US National Security Council Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa said the United States would not use Iraqi airspace, land and water as a point of attack on Iraq's neighbors.

Al-Araji's office issued a statement stressing that the two sides discussed the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, as well as the latest developments in the region and internationally.

McGorge stressed the United States' commitment to the outcome of the strategic talks on Iraq, Nass News reported, quoting the statement.

Under the agreement, he said, the United States would not use Iraqi airspace, land and water as a point of attack on Iraq's neighbors.

The US official claimed that Washington was not a threat to any country, claiming that it was seeking to empower Iraq to fight terrorism.
