Saturday, 11 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 1,681 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Saturday that 1,681 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 286 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 1,681 COVID-19 infections and 58 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,152,8524.”
“58 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 130,661,” the ministry added.
“3,126 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,963,373 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
“39,951,481 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “8 cities are rated orange, 119 cities are yellow, and 321 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 269,615,826 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 5,315,387 and recoveries amounting to 242,552,111.
