Saturday, 11 December 2021 (YJC)_ Referring to the recent attempt took by British lawmakers, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has said to impose sanctions on three Iranian individuals would be unconstructive.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh referred to the recent Uk lawmaker’s aim to impose sanctions on three Iranian individuals and said such attempts would be unconstructive.
“We get informed about the internal debate between British lawmakers to add the names of 3 fellow Iranians to the list of human rights sanctions in that country,” he said while noting that “We strongly reject the baseless accusations made against our fellow Iranians.”
“Any unconstructive action with regard to this case and similar cases taken by UK is counterproductive and also directly complicate the situation and issues,” he added.
