Saturday, 11 December 2021 (YJC)_Iranian top negotiator referred to the false reports about Vienna talks and said the nuclear deal is alive because of Iran's responsible conduct.
Referring to his meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Linhart, Iranian top negotiator, Ali Bagheri Kani said false reports from outside the session cannot make Iran weak and the nuclear deal is alive because of Iran's responsible conduct.
In a message on his twitter account, Bagheri Kani wrote “In a friendly meeting with Austria's new FM, I stressed our seriousness & good will in Vienna talks.”
He also added “Deal is alive because of Iran's responsible conduct. Dishonest reports from outside negotiating room won't weaken our will to reach a deal securing our nation's rights & interests.”
Prior to this and on Friday, Ali Bagheri Kani held talks with Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Linhart to review bilateral and international issues as well as the Vienna Talks.
Currently, the Iranian official is in Vienna to attend negotiations on lifting sanctions against Iran.
On Thursday afternoon it is announced that the 8th round of Vienna talks between Iran and P4+1 has started in Coburg Hotel.
“The removal of the sanctions imposed by the US on Iran after its unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal” is the main aim of the current talks.
