The summit, chaired by Kazakh President Qassim Jamert Takayev, is expected to bring together leaders from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, with Cuba and Moldova as observers.

According to the plan, this meeting will discuss the issues of deepening the convergence processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the evolution of the activities of this multilateral structure.

The Eurasian Economic Union is made up of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

The total area of ​​the member countries of this union is more than 20 million square kilometers, its population is more than 180 million people and its GDP in 2013 is about 4 thousand billion dollars (according to the criteria of purchasing power parity).

Within the framework of this union, its members have declared their consent to the free movement of goods, capital, labor and services across the Eurasian borders. Eurasia members have also announced that they will have a common policy in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture and vehicles.
