Friday, 10 December 2021 (YJC)_ A number of CEOs of large economic holdings and Turkish investors in Iran met with the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in Istanbul.
A number of CEOs of large holdings and Turkish investors in Iran met with Dr. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, who arrived in Istanbul yesterday to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Union of OIC member states.
At the beginning of the meeting, the CEOs of economic holdings and Turkish investors expressed their issues, problems and suggestions for the development of investments.
Qalibaf also said in this meeting that the problems raised in this meeting can be solved:
In the government and the parliament, we have given priority to the development of relations with our neighbors and Islamic countries, and this is a serious and strong will, and on this basis, we are determined to prioritize bilateral trade.
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly went on to point out that bilateral trade should not be limited to the lifting of sanctions:
Rather, for a variety of reasons, planning should be such that bilateral trade continues even if sanctions are lifted.
He continued:
There are now better opportunities for the development of trade and economic relations, and especially the policies that will be included in the Seventh Development Plan will help in this regard.
