Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Minister said that the Iranian team will be in Vienna up until they reach an agreement.
In a phone talk with EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell, the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the Iranian negotiating team will stay in Vienna as long as they reach an agreement.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed out the seriousness on Iranian team to reach a good agreement and appreciated the fruitful interactions between the negotiators in Vienna talks.
He went on to blast negative political positions of the three European countries towards the Iranian nuclear issue and said “Such actions make the discussions complicated and slow down the process of reaching an agreement.”
Iranian foreign minister said the approach taken by Russia and China is “realistic and constructive” and added “JCPOA is a peaceful deal, but resolving the nuclear concern is directly related to the complete removal of sanctions,” while noting Iran is doubtful of US readiness to remove sanctions or to resolve its concerns unilaterally.
He finally noted that “The Iranian negotiation team will stay in Vienna as long as to reach an agreement with the P4+1.”
