Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ Commander of the Iranian Army Navy announced that 3 new vessels will join his forces in the near future.

Navy Commander 3 New Vessels to Join Iranian Naval ForcesCommander of the Iranian Army Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani announced that 3 new vessels will join his forces in the near future.

“3 new vessels will join the naval forces in the Northern and Southern waters of the country,” he said while noting that “the Navy has up-to-date equipment in the North and South fleets thanks to the Iranian specialists and the knowledge-based companies.”

He went on to sayd that “several vessels will join the fleets in the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf,” while pointing to the fact that “In the Northern fleet, we have the Damavand class destroyer with the latest equipment and technology which is fully ready to operate.”

According to navy commander “In the Southern naval fleet, we will have Jamaran class destroyer, the intelligence warship Talayeh which has a helicopter hangar and also the Fateh-class submarine.”

In a relevant remark in November, Iranian Army’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani have told reports that enemies’ cruel sanctions imposed against the country have failed to impede progress of naval forces.
