Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ Secretary of Iranian Judiciary's Human Rights Council announced that a list of Americans who will be sanctioned soon by Iran is going to be announced soon.
In reaction to the recent sanctions against Iran, the Secretary of Iranian Judiciary's Human Rights Council, Kazem Gharibabadi announced that a list of Americans who will be sanctioned soon by Iran is going to be announced soon.
Recently US imposed sanctions on 13 Iranian individuals and legal entities under the false pretext of human rights violations, in reaction of which Gharibabadi said “that is the continuation of the failed maximum policy taken by the US, the claim that is for the sake of human rights but the illegal nature of these sanctions itself makes their claim as bitter joke.”
Iranian official went on to add that “These sanctions imposed on the Iranian people, endangers the fundamental rights of our citizens, and blocks patients from accessing medicine and medical equipment.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted the miserable situation of American prisoners, and said “how they treat American prisoners and the large population of women in prisons is clear example of violation of the rights of prisoners.”
He finally announced that “Iran is going to publish a list of American entities and nationals for being involved in serious human rights violations and impose sanction on them.”
