Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ During his visit to Cairo today, the Israeli Foreign Minister mentioned the strengthening of relations with Egypt in all areas as one of the vital interests of the regime.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid arrived in the Egyptian capital Cairo today (Thursday, December 9th).
According to the Masravi website, informed sources at Cairo International Airport stated that he and his entourage arrived in Cairo on a private plane and were scheduled to meet with Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shukri and a number of senior officials on the Palestinian issue and Consult the Gaza Strip, the case of prisoners and missing persons and other issues of concern.
Arriving in Cairo, Lapid posted pictures of himself on Twitter and wrote:
Strengthening Egyptian-Israeli relations and deepening them in the political, security and economic fields is one of Israel's vital interests. We will continue to work together to advance our common interests in regional stability.
