Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ Russia's envoy to the Vienna talks said that many differences remained in the talks, but stressed that professional cooperation had been established between the parties to the Vienna talks, including with the United States.
Russia's representative to international organizations based in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, announced on Thursday morning that the parties to the Vienna talks were cooperating professionally.
On his Twitter page, Ulyanov wrote, referring to the tweet of Robert Malley, the US envoy to Iran:
As you can see from this tweet, we have managed to build professional cooperation with our other counterparts in the Vienna negotiations on the JCPOA, including the United States.
He also explained:
This is very good. Of course, there are still many differences of opinion. But it is obvious that we all move forward with the unity of purpose.
The Russian diplomat had previously tweeted that he had met with Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, about Iran.
Ulyanov wrote about this:
I briefed him on the state of the Vienna talks. The IAEA is expected to play an important role in implementing the future agreement to revive the JCPOA. We also talked about the activities of the Atomic Agency in Iran.
