Wednesday, 8 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Minister said the US should remove all sanctions against Iran.
As the new round of talks between Tehran and the world powers will be held in Vienna on Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said the US should remove all sanctions against Iran.
“The main aim of the Vienna talks should be the full and effective implementation of JCPOA and improvement of sustainable economic cooperation,” Amir-Abdollahian said.
“The goal behind the Vienna talks is fulfillment of the rights of the Iranian people and removal of the sanctions imposed unilaterally and illegally,” he added.
He went on to say that “The US May 2018 measure has been called illegitimate,” and added “the international community believes that such measure shows the indifference to the UN charter.”
“The current US administration follows the destructive approach of Donald Trump which is a questionable fact,” Iranian foreign minister noted while adding “Iran's serious determination, good will, and full faithfulness to the international nuclear agreement is undeniable.”
He also highlighted that verifying the practicality of US' removal of the sanctions is important, and noted “Iran will never accept any talks beyond the framework of the JCPOA, Iran has good faith and is determined to hold successful talks.”
