Wednesday, 8 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iran’s Parliament Speaker will depart for Turkey to attend the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States.
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will depart for Turkey on Wednesday evening to attend the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).
The 16th Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) conference is going be held on December 9 - 10, 2021, “Palestine, migration, and Afghanistan” are among the issues to be discussed in the conference.
The Spokesman of the Iranian Parliament's Presiding Board Nezameddin Mousavi, announced in this regard that “Ghalibaf is going to have bilateral meetings with parliament speakers of some Islamic countries who attend the conference.”
Mousavi also noted that “Parliamentary diplomacy and developing economic relations with neighboring countries with the support of the private sector,” are among other issues to be discussed in the meeting by Iranian official.
The parliaments of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation members states are the main founders of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States which was established in Iran on 17 June 1999, with its head office situated in Tehran.
