Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative to international organizations in Vienna, Austria, announced the start of informal meetings in Vienna, Austria, to continue talks between Iran and the P4 + 1 group.
"Informal meetings have resumed in preparation for the resumption of the seventh round of Vienna talks on JCPOA, which had already begun," he wrote in a Twitter message.
In another Twitter message, Ulyanov referred to Tuesday night's talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden.
In a virtual conversation, Putin and Biden expressed hope that the Vienna talks on the JCPOA, which resumed at the end of November, would lead to acceptable results for all.
