US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on Tuesday evening that the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran was a big mistake.

We still believe that diplomacy is the best way to solve the Iranian nuclear challenge.
The US Secretary of State said:
The opportunity for Iran to return to its commitments in the nuclear deal will not remain endless.
The US Secretary of State expresses regret over the withdrawal from the JCPOA, while the current US administration continues to maintain the policy of maximum pressure of the previous US administration against Iran and refuses to lift all sanctions imposed on Iran after leaving the 2015 nuclear deal.
Blinken also referred to the Ukraine challenge and said that if Russia invaded Ukraine, Washington would provide more defense assistance to Kiev.
The US Secretary of State added:
We hope that Russia will not take more hostile actions against Ukraine.
