Friday, 3 December 2021 (YJC)_ Tehran Provisional Friday prayers leader said what Iranian people want is the removal of unilateral and illegal sanctions imposed by US.
Speaking in this week’s Friday prayers held at Tehran Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla (congregational prayers site), Tehran Provisional Friday prayers leader Ayatolallah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said what Iranian people want is the removal of unilateral and illegal sanctions imposed by US.
“The only thing Iranians want is the lifting of US unilateral and cruel sanctions,” he said.
Khatami went on to refer to the seventh round of Vienna talks and said “Our delegation who are experienced, went to Vienna for nuclear talks and this delegation expressed its positions explicitly, they demonstrated their anti-American positions in nuclear talks both in terms of promises and in practice clearly.”
He then highlighted the fact that “Iranian people will be satisfied only if they see the complete removal of cruel and oppressive sanctions imposed against them.”
Finally, he expressed his gratitude to the services rendered by the government officials of President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi’s administration and called containing the coronavirus throughout the country as the most important issue that has been tackled by them.
