Friday, 3 December 2021 (YJC)_ In an interview with a Qatari network, the senior Iranian negotiator in the Vienna talks stated that Iran expects the other parties to provide their legal response and logical arguments to the Iranian side's proposals.
Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran's chief negotiator in the Vienna talks, this afternoon (Friday), in an interview with the Qatari network Al-Jazeera, explained about the two drafts of the Iranian side.
According to the report, Iran's chief negotiator stated:
Iran's proposals to the world powers cannot be rejected and these proposals are based on the clauses of the 2015 agreement.
Ali Bagheri continued:
We also have a third proposal, which we will present immediately after the world powers agree to the first two proposals. Some foreign actors are trying to stop the talks.
Bagheri emphasized:
Israel will not dream of attacking Iran either, because that would mean the end.
The senior negotiator of Iran also interviewed a reporter of Al-Mayadin network and stated:
We have had several meetings with the other parties in Europe since we presented the two drafts. We expect the other parties to provide their legal response and rationale to our proposals.
Ali Bagheri added:
We are negotiating a general agreement to allow for the withdrawal of a member who has left the agreement. We are trying to lift the cruel and illegal US sanctions.
Bagheri also said:
If the other party cancels the breach of the agreement, we are ready to suspend our retaliatory measures.
The remarks came after Reuters quoted a European diplomat in Vienna as saying yesterday that the Iranian side had submitted two drafts on sanctions and nuclear issues to the European side in the lifting of sanctions.
