Thursday, 2 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman warned of attempts by the Zionist regime to poison the Vienna talks.
In a message on his twitter account, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh warned of attempts by the Zionist regime to poison the Vienna talks and prevent its progress.
“Israeli regime whose existence relies on tension is at it again, trumpeting lies to poison Vienna talks,” Khatibzadeh wrote.
He went on to add that “"All parties in the room now face a test of their independence & political will to carry out the job— irrespective of the fake news designed to destroy prospects for success.”
Hours after that he tweeted another message and wrote “As #ViennaTalks advances, Israeli regime shows its true color again, calling for immediate halt of negotiations.”
Khatibzadeh also noted that “Not surprising. Dialogue is always despised by the regime whose genesis is based on war, tension & terror. Delegates in Vienna won't take instruction from Beit Aghion.”
Saturday night, it was announced that the top Iranian negotiator deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani has arrived in Vienna, Austria to discuss the removal of the illegal sanctions.
A seventh round of the talks started in the Austrian capital on Monday.
Prior to that, in an interview with Independent, he said “the talks will fail if all sanctions are not lifted.”
In a relevant remark on Monday and while speaking to reporters after Vienna talks, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, said the previous rounds of Vienna talks were only a “draft”.
