Wednesday, 1 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 4,312 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday that 4,312 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 660 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 4,312 COVID-19 infections and 82 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,121,757.”
“82 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 129,912,” the ministry added.
“3,328 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,892,574 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
“38,873,156 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “22 cities are rated orange, 207 cities are yellow, and 219 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 263,336,667 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 5,237,756 and recoveries amounting to 237,770,481.
“Pandemic reminds us that the development, welfare and prosperity of all human beings are interconnected and interdependent,”
