Phone conversation between the presidents of Iran and France / Raeisi: Iran's will in the negotiations is seriousEmmanuel Macron spoke by telephone Monday night with Hojatoleslam Raeisi about the joint fight against Corona, regional co-operation and nuclear talks.

In this telephone conversation, the President of France called for joint cooperation in the fight against the new Corona, which was welcomed by the President of Iran.

Hojatoleslam Raeisi said in this phone call:
Iran has always adhered to its nuclear commitments, and the International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly reaffirmed Iran's commitment.

Asked why, despite Iran's adherence to the JCPOA and the fulfillment of its obligations, the United States violated the treaty and the Europeans did not fulfill their obligations, the president said:
Those who violated the covenant should be asked why they did not fulfill their obligations. And we reaffirm that we are committed to our commitments.

Referring to the start of negotiations to lift sanctions, the president said:
Sending a comprehensive team to the talks shows Iran's serious will in these talks.

Hojatoleslam Raeisi called on the French president to work with other countries in Vienna to conclude talks and lift sanctions on Iran.

The President emphasized:
Sanctions have failed to stop Iran from making progress, and today the whole world knows who the violators of the JCPOA are and that they must return to their commitments.

He said:
The current situation is the result of the Americans and Europeans not fulfilling their obligations in the JCPOA.

Referring to the recent visit of the Director General of the Atomic Energy Agency to Tehran and his announcement that Iran has complied with its nuclear obligations, the President said:
The Director General of the Atomic Energy Agency in Iran did not say anything about Iran's non-compliance with its obligations, and we are now ready to continue our full cooperation with the IAEA.

He added:
Those who have started violating the covenant in the JCPOA must gain the trust of the other side so that the negotiations can proceed in a real and fruitful manner.
