Monday, 29 November 2021 (YJC)_ Iran’s lead negotiator stressed that talks between Tehran and the world powers in Vienna will have its focus on sanctions removal.
In his remarks before starting talks with the Group 4+1 (China, Russia, Britain and France plus Germany), Iran’s lead negotiator Ali Baqeri Kani stressed that talks between Tehran and the world powers in Vienna will have its focus on limiting the unilateral and illegal sanctions.
“Iran negotiating team has it focus on being serious toward removing sanction that were imposed be the US against out nation,” he said while noting that is the priority and focus of the talks.
The Iranian diplomatic delegation is led by deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani.
Saturday night, it was announced that the top Iranian negotiator deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani has arrived in Vienna, Austria to discuss the removal of the illegal sanctions.
Prior to that, in an interview with Independent, he said “the talks will fail if all sanctions are not lifted.”
