Navy Commander Sanctions Leave No Impact on Iranian Navy’s Progress

Sunday, 28 November 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Army’s Navy Commander said that enemies’ cruel sanctions imposed against the country have failed to impede progress of naval forces.

Navy Commander Sanctions Leave No Impact on Iranian Navy’s ProgressIn a press conference on the occasion of Navy Day in Iran, Iranian Army’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani told reports that enemies’ cruel sanctions imposed against the country have failed to impede progress of naval forces.

“Lifting or imposing sanctions in the military field has no value for Iranian people right now,” he said while noting that the sanctions imposed by enemies against the country were failed to impede progress of naval forces in developing different weapons and military systems.

He went on to point out achievements of the Iranian Navy forces and said “In the depth of the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea, Iran’s Navy is carrying out very vital and sensitive operations, we have shown excellent maritime operation and brough about security for the entire region and the world.”

“Sanctions imposed against the country have not had any impact on Iran’s Navy Force,” he responded to the question on the impacts of sanctions on defense industries.

“Navy is an equipment-oriented, scientific-, political-, military- and international force,” he said while adding that “Iran’s Navy will unveil the most modern maritime equipment soon.”
