Sunday, 28 November 2021 (YJC)_ During a meeting with Amir-Abdollahian in Ashgabat, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in bilateral relations and called for joint projects between the two countries and with the participation of other neighboring countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is in Ashgabat to attend the 15th Summit of the ECO, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, on Saturday night.
The two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest.
In this meeting, our Foreign Minister called the cooperation between the two countries in various political, economic, cultural and media fields and the levels of officials, including presidents, foreign ministers and officials of the Joint Cooperation Commission, important, and the recent visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and The Azerbaijani chairman praised the Joint Cooperation Commission to Tehran.
Amir-Abdollahian also described today's (Sunday) meeting between the Presidents of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan as an indication of the right path for diplomacy.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in relations following some misunderstandings. He read the agreements between them as important.
He also stressed the importance of joint projects between the two countries and with the participation of other neighboring countries, and announced the readiness to implement these projects.
