He said:
The government took the helm of the country at a time when the corona was taking the lives of hundreds of our dear compatriots every day, and this was a concern that the president had and emphasized at the first meeting of the government, and I in the parliament presented programs to the deputies. I had promised the parliament that the first work plan of me and my colleagues in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would be a special focus on importing vaccines needed by our compatriots in the country, and therefore on the first working day in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a joint meeting We arranged for high-ranking officials from the Central Bank, the Red Crescent, and the country's customs to assist us in facilitating the import of vaccines from abroad.
Amir-Abdollahian added:
Our managers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iranian ambassadors abroad made great efforts to be able to import large volumes of vaccine in the first days, while our scientists and young people simultaneously produced domestic vaccines in several companies. The Iranian Knowledge Foundation, the Pasteur Institute, as well as the Barakat Institute and various departments, have taken serious steps to produce domestic vaccines and have achieved great success in this field.
The head of the diplomatic service stated:
Today, I would like to announce with satisfaction that more than one hundred million doses of vaccine have been injected into our compatriots in the country, and we are in a situation where we are able to export part of our domestic vaccine production abroad.
He said that another issue that has been seriously considered in the diplomatic apparatus in the past one hundred days is the discussion of the UN Security Council, the Vienna talks and the interaction and cooperation in line with the rights and interests of the Iranian people and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Starting this week, we will key in the Vienna talks. In recent weeks, my deputy, Mr. Bagheri, has held meetings and consultations in European capitals, in Moscow, in connection with webinars in Beijing, and during his trips to neighboring countries and the region. Yes, I had detailed conversations.
The head of the diplomatic service noted:
We have made all the necessary arrangements to reach a good and speedy agreement if the other parties return to their full commitments, and we have explicitly stated our positions and demands in the continuation of the talks that have taken place in the past and as a document as a UN resolution and resolution. Approved, we stated.
Amir-Abdollahian stated:
The clear view of the Islamic Republic of Iran is that the rights and interests of the Iranian people should be secured at the negotiating table and sanctions should be lifted, and we hope that we can take fundamental and successful steps forward in the path of the Vienna talks.
This high-ranking diplomat of our country stated:
Certainly the hand of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be tied. There are several options before us. We start with the option of dialogue and negotiation in Vienna. We are serious in negotiations and we are serious in reaching an agreement, and we hope to see their seriousness, as the other sides say, especially the Westerners.
He said:
We told them frankly that we are a pragmatic and result-oriented government and that we hope that will happen at the Vienna talks.
Amir-Abdollahian stated:
The development of foreign trade for the country is one of the issues that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will pay serious attention to in the 13th government.
