Friday, 26 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that all US sanctions should be lifted in one place, effectively and verifiably, along with objective guarantees, adding that all the focus of Iran and the P5 + 1 in the Vienna talks is on lifting these sanctions.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in a conversation about the new round of talks in Vienna between Iran and the P4+1 group:
The positions of the Islamic Republic of iran in this regard were stated months ago, and the new government (13th) has announced its position without any stuttering.
A spokesman for the diplomatic corps continued:
All US sanctions must be lifted in one place, effectively and verifiably, with objective guarantees.
Khatibzadeh, who spoke to the IRIB News Agency, continued:
This is all our focus on the Vienna talks, which, God willing, we will enter next week, seriously and with full will, to lift these sanctions against the Iranian people.
He also stated:
The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran is clear, decisive and logical. Our focus, and that of the P5 + 1, is to lift the sanctions that have been imposed on the Iranian people, unilaterally and illegally, by the United States since Trump left the JCPOA.
