Iraqi media reported this afternoon (Thursday) that Iraqi forces shot down a drone near Karbala province.
Shafaq News quoted a security source as saying that the drone had been shot down in a desert near Karbala province.
The source said that the drone was carrying ten kilograms of explosives and was flying deep into the city of Karbala.
Official Iraqi sources have not yet commented on the report and have not confirmed or confirmed it.
