Wednesday, 24 November 2021 (YJC)_ While referring to the recent delivery of fuel to Lebanon, commander of IRGC underscored Iran’s unparalleled power on the international scene.
Addressing a gathering of Students’ Basij of universities and academic centers of the country in Mashhad, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said that despite the US’ unilateral sanctions, Iran was able to successfully deliver fuel to Lebanon and underscored Iran’s unparalleled power on the international scene.
“In spite of oppressive and cruel sanctions imposed by foreign countries Iran enjoys unparalleled power in the international arena,” he said while noting that despite all embargos the country sent fuel to Lebanon.
“Iran does not send oil and fuel to any country free-of-charge,” he said while adding “Iran thwarted all conspiracies waged by the Global Arrogance under the wise leadership of the Islamic Revolution.”
He also called Basij students as future-makers and advised them to hold on to values of the Islamic Revolution to pave the way for the country towards prosperity.
Despite US cruelty and unilateral sanctions, the third tanker carrying Iranian fuel reached Syria in October to be transferred to neighboring Lebanon, while Tehran has expressed readiness to sell its fuel directly to the Lebanese government.
