Tuesday, 23 November 2021 (YJC)_ The head of the Atomic Energy Organization said in a press conference with the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran is determined in its nuclear program: "Grossi has said several times that no deviation has been observed in Iran's nuclear program.
"Mohammad Eslami," the vice president and head of the Atomic Energy Organization, today (Tuesday) hosted Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, for the second time in about two and a half months.
After meeting with Grossi, he described the consultations to reporters.
At the beginning of the press conference, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, said that today we discussed the current issues and what is needed to develop cooperation.
He added:
The important point for us and the IAEA is that the issues between Iran and the IAEA are technical issues and the IAEA does not consider and will not affect the political issues and the conspiratorial influences that Iran's enemies are using to advance Iran's nuclear program.
He mentioned:
Mr Grossi has said several times today that he has not seen any deviations in Iran's nuclear program and that Iran is carrying out its nuclear activities in accordance with treaties and regulations.
He emphasized that the questions raised by the enemies regarding Iran's nuclear program and provided to the IAEA had raised questions that had been answered:
The remaining parts of them are related to the closed issues of the past, which have been addressed and closed in the JCPOA. Today, we agreed to end these cases and not to continue them with the procedure that we will adopt, the negotiations of which are still ongoing.
Eslami clarified:
Iran is determined in its nuclear program and the effects of Iran's nuclear program that we can use all aspects of nuclear technology in various sectors in the lives of the people on our agenda that the IAEA will help Iran in this regard.
He continued:
Also, the announcement that we should create at least 10,000 MW of nuclear power in Iran, especially with small power plants with a maximum capacity of 300 MW, the agency will encourage countries with this industry to use the industrial capacity of Iranian industries to be able to Help develop and expand our country's nuclear power capacity.
