Tuesday, 23 November 2021 (YJC)_ Palestinian prisoner Kaid al-Fusfous has suspended his hunger strike after 131 days on hunger strike after being sentenced to life in prison.
Palestinian prisoner Kaid al-Fusfos suspended his hunger strike on Monday after a 131-day hunger strike in protest of his administrative detention.
According to Russia Today, according to the agreement reached, the prisoner will be released on December 14 and will remain in hospital, but his administrative detention will be suspended until his release.
Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanoo stressed:
The 131-day resistance of Kaid Al-Fosfos in the battle of empty stomachs and his victory today over the Zionist regime's prison guards is a sign of the power of our nation and our prisoners to rub the nose of the occupying regime in every battle they enter.
Meanwhile, three other Palestinian prisoners are still on hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention, including Hisham Abu Hawash, Ayad al-Harimi and Loi al-Ashqra, each in the ninety-seventh, sixty-first and forty-fourth, respectively. They are on a hunger strike.
On the 11th and 18th of this month, the Nadi al-Assir al-Palestinian Center announced the victory of Alaa al-Araj and Meqdad al-Qawasmeh (after 133 days of hunger strike) to cancel their administrative detention.
