Monday, 22 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 5,427 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday that 5,427 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 840 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 5,427 COVID-19 infections and 104 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,082,865.”
97 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 129,053,” the ministry added.
“3,393 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,795,060 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 37,887,368 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “8 cities are rated red, 58 cities are orange, 236 cities are yellow, and 146 cities are blue.”
