Parl. Deglegation: US Looking for Reducing Iran-Venezuela Regional Influence

Monday, 22 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian parliamentary delegation has met with the head of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela and said the aim of US pressures are to reduce region influence of two countries.

Parl. Deglegation: US Looking for Reducing Iran-Venezuela Regional InfluenceIn a meeting with the head of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela in Caracas, the Iranian parliamentary delegation said the aim of US pressures are to reduce region influence of two countries.

This travel is happening after observing the regional elections in the Latin American country by the parliamentary delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This delegation consists of Abbas Moghtadaei, Ali Haddadi and Qassem Saedi and they met with the head of the National Electoral Council of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Caracas.

The Iranian side described the importance of holding local and municipal elections in Venezuela as a positive trend and noted “The votes will have an important impact on regional stability and security.”

They went on to stress the need to expand bilateral cooperation and to use the existing potentials of the two nations.

Elsewhere in their remarks, the Iranian officials noted that the aim of the political pressures from Western countries, including the United States, is to reduce their regional influence.
