Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 4,340 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Sunday that 4,340 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 650 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 4,340 COVID-19 infections and 104 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,077,438.”
104 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 128,956,” the ministry added.
“3,409 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,783,425 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
“6,653,947 Iranians have received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine and 44,726,047 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine,” the ministry added while announcing “765,235 people have also received the third shot as the booster dose.”
