Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ A report by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce announced that the value of Iranian shipments sent to the EU countries have increased remarkably.
A report published by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce announced that despite the US’ unilateral sanctions, in the three quarters to September this year Iran’s exports to the European Union countries have increased remarkably.
“An increase of 14% compared to the similar period in 2020, the value of Iranian shipments sent to the EU countries in January-September had reached 632 million euros,” the report showed.
“The EU into Iran had declined by 1% over the same period to stand at 2.072 billion euros,” the report noted while highlighting the fact that in spite of US sanctions and growing financial and banking restrictions, trade between Iran and the EU has continued.
Also, another report by Customs Administration (IRICA) shows 40 percent increase in trade of non-oil goods with Eurasian Economic Union’s member states from March 21 to Sep. 22.
