Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ On the sidelines of the Manama meeting, the Secretary General of the Arab League met with the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the resigned Yemeni government.

During the meeting, Abu al-Gheit claimed that Iran had openly interfered in the affairs of Yemen and said:
Iran continues to support the Houthis to disrupt the security and stability of Yemen and the region.

According to the Al-Ain news website, Ben Aziz claimed during the meeting:
The Houthis continue to target Yemeni cities, villages and homes and their property using various weapons, firing ballistic missiles and drones, as well as targeting Saudi Arabia.

Ben Aziz also claimed:
The threat of the Houthis is not limited to Yemen, but their threat threatens regional and international communities.

He emphasized:
It is necessary for the international community to put pressure on the countries of the world to prevent Iran and its militias from interfering in the affairs of Yemen and to stop Iran's support for these militias.
