Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ Khatibzadeh condemned the attack on the building of the Iranian Consulate General in Hamburg and called on the German government to fulfill its responsibilities in securing the diplomatic premises of the Islamic Republic.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, condemned the attack on the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hamburg.
He called on the German government to act seriously and responsibly in its definite duties in securing the diplomatic premises of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Germany within the framework of the Vienna Convention.
Khatibzadeh added:
The German government is expected to take consistent and effective measures to prevent the recurrence of such attacks while carefully examining the details and dealing seriously with the perpetrator or perpetrators.
Local German media reported on Friday evening the attack on the building of the Iranian Consulate General in Hamburg, Germany by unknown individuals.
After the attack, the Iranian consul general arrived at the scene and spoke with German officials, and the CCTV images are to be examined. German security police are involved in the investigation.
According to reports, no one was injured in the incident and only the entrance of the consulate building was damaged.
