Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ Zionist media reported on Shabak President's secret visit to Jordan after his visit to Cairo and Ramallah.
Ronen Barr, the new head of Shabak (Zionist Intelligence and Internal Security Organization), met with Jordanian military and security officials during a visit to the Jordanian capital Amman.
The Zionist newspaper Haaretz reported that Shabak's visit to Jordan was his third in West Asia since his appointment.
According to the Arab 48 website, during his visit to Jordan, Ronnen Barr met with senior military and security officials to discuss ways to combat armed groups and terrorism, as well as the fight against arms smuggling across the border.
Haaretz wrote that the meeting probably discussed the dangers of terrorism, especially with the approach of armed groups and the movement of militants from Iraq to the borders of occupied Palestine.
According to the newspaper, the head of Shabak conveyed the message to the Jordanian officials that it is important to maintain Israeli relations with Jordan, and despite the differences between the two sides in recent years under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, there are close security relations between the Israeli and Jordanian security services.
