Saturday, 20 November 2021 (YJC)_ Parsian Navy Marines seized a foreign ship carrying smuggled fuel in the waters of this city.
Colonel Ahmad Hajian, commander of the 412 Zulfiqar naval unit in Parsian, said:
Through intelligence monitoring and in a coordinated operation, the Marines of this navy managed to seize a foreign ship with 11 crew in the waters of our country.
He said:
After inspecting this vessel, more than 150,000 liters of smuggled diesel were discovered and all 11 foreign crews were introduced to the jurisdiction of Parsian city to go through the legal process.
Commander of Naval Type 412 Zulfiqar of Parsian city said:
Zulfiqar Navy 412 will deal decisively with any fuel smuggling at sea in support of the country's economy.
