The US Department of Commerce has extended sanctions against Iran's Mahan Air and a number of other companies in various countries that have previously worked with Iran Air.
Sanctions against Mahan Air and 12 companies have been extended for another six months, according to official documents released Friday by the US Department of Commerce's Office of Security and Industry.
The sanctions include a ban on the sale of any US aerospace equipment or spare parts to these companies.
Companies in the UK, Jordan, Iraq, the UAE, Syria, Turkey and France were among the companies against which the sanctions were extended.
