Friday, 19 November 2021 (YJC)_ French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian threw the ball into Iran's court and took a stand against Tehran, without mentioning the West's repeated indebtedness to the JCPOA over the November 29 talks in Vienna.

French Foreign Minister's anti-Iranian stance on the November 29 talks in ViennaAccording to Reuters, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian commented on the November 29 talks with Iran in Vienna in an interview with Le Monde newspaper.

The senior French official claimed:
The first thing we need to do is whether we are continuing the dialogue from where it left off in June (negotiations in June) with the previous Iranian government.

In this interview, the French Foreign Minister once again threw the ball to Iran without mentioning the indebtedness of this country and other Western countries that have signed the UN Security Council.

Jean-Yves Laudrian told Le Monde:
If these talks (November 29 in Vienna) are fictitious, we should consider the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan of the UN Security Council hollow.

The senior Western official's remarks come as Iran has repeatedly stated that the Western parties to the Borjam nuclear deal must abide by their explicit commitments.
